Chick Springs Hurricane Helene Update

Hey everyone, happy mid-October. Due to the disruption caused by Hurricane Helene, we didn't send our usual update on October 1, but I still wanted to share about the Chick Springs site.

The most significant update concerns our work at the Chick Springs site. This site was significantly damaged during Helene, and we have already begun work to salvage what's there so we can preserve it for future generations. 

If you want to help, we are planning another workday on 10/26. Please email Stacie Burnett if you are interested in helping on the 26th or on any future workdays.

We've also created a way for you to give directly to our Chick Springs Fund to help us with the costs associated with this site. We know there are many pressing needs out there right now, and please give your attention first and foremost to efforts to rescue and restore people who have lost everything. As you have extra capacity, we would love your support, too.
